About me
Connor Groce is a seasoned franchise consultant, multi-brand franchisee, and entrepreneur based in Raleigh, North Carolina. His journey into franchising began at the age of 20 while pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During this time, he partnered with experienced franchisees to launch a home services franchise, achieving early success by doubling the brand’s previous first-year revenue record through holiday lighting services. After 18 months as an owner-operator, Connor transitioned to a semi-absentee role by hiring a manager to oversee daily operations.
In 2022, Connor expanded his entrepreneurial endeavors by relocating to Indiana and acquiring two units of a waste management franchise. He focused on organic growth and executed multiple successful acquisitions, underscoring his belief in acquisitions as a powerful strategy for long-term value creation.
Connor's passion for franchising led him to assist others in navigating the franchise landscape. Through his platform, Franchise Gateway, he offers expert guidance to professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors seeking to transition into franchise ownership. His services encompass identifying and evaluating franchise opportunities, strategic planning, and community support, all aimed at maximizing clients' potential in the franchising sector.
In addition to his consulting work, Connor is a franchise consultant with FranChoice, where he leverages his extensive experience to help clients find franchises that align with their goals and budgets.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Connor resides in Raleigh with his two Great Danes, Marley and Scout. He enjoys traveling, reading, and supporting the Tar Heels.
